Events to Bring
Grieving Parents Together
We hold regular events in Columbus, Ohio to bring grieving parents together to remember our babies and create connection and community along the grief journey.
We typically host events around the Mother’s and Father’s Day holidays as well as during October, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
We hope you will join us at one of these meaningful gatherings soon.
Bereaved Father’s Day BBQ
EventsDid you know August 31st is Bereaved Father’s Day? We know that dads, grandfathers, uncles and father figures grieve and can find benefit in connection to each other. Join us for a BBQ, co-hosted by Alive In My Heart, Let the Light In and OhioHealth Community Grief Services.
We will enjoy lunch generously donated by City BBQ and each other’s presence in the garden at OhioHealth’s Kobacker House. Lawn games will be available as well, and this will be a casual event with just a short presentation.
There is no cost to register, but there are limited spots and eventbrite tickets are required, so visit this link to register.
2nd Annual P.A.I.L. Remembrance & Awareness Walk
EventsThe 2025 P.A.I.L. Remembrance & Awareness Walk will be on October 11th with the same host committee of Columbus Public Health, Miles’ Mission, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and us. Last year we had 400 participants and honored 120 babies gone far too soon. It was an amazing morning of community, remembrance & awareness.
We will be in the same location as last year at Genoa Park in downtown Columbus with a very similar setup and program of events.
The event is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Please register here to join us at this impactful event!
