We envision a community in which no one has to endure the loss of a baby on their own.

We are also grieving parents on our own journey who want to create community to grieve together.
Alive In My Heart is a 501(c)(3) Ohio non-profit organization that supports parents who have lost a baby during pregnancy or infancy by connecting them to each other and to community resources.
No two losses or stories are the same. Our journeys may be different, but we do share the understanding of how painful it is to have one or more babies we miss.

IN 2026 THE BABIES THAT INSPIRED ALIVE IN MY HEART TURN 10.
WE HOPE TO HONOR ANNELISE CERICOLA, OWEN JANIDLO & JACOB YASSENOFF BY RAISING $ 10,000 IN EACH OF THEIR NAMES FOR A TOTAL OF $30,000 RAISED IN 2026!
OUR LARGEST EXPENSE IS OUR PAIL FINANCIAL GRANT PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES UTILITY AND FOOD ASSISTANCE TO THOSE EXPERIENCING STILLBIRTH AND INFANT LOSS WHO MEET OUR FINANCIAL NEED GUIDELINES. WITH AN AVERAGE GRANT AMOUNT OF $730, THESE FUNDS COULD HELP US PROVIDE THIS NEEDED ASSISTANCE TO 40+ FAMILIES.

We will have our Celebration of Bereaved Mothers & Fathers June 6th at 10am and we would love for you to join us to honor your parenthood to the baby or babies you miss. Registration is now open at this link. As in past years, this event is limited to grieving parents and a support person, and it is an adult only event. Space is limited so if you know you want to join us, please RSVP at your earliest convenience.
We will have light brunch food, tea and coffee as well as a remembrance craft led by Brianne Gladieux who is an art teacher in the Gahanna-Jefferson Public School District. We will also read baby names to remember those we miss. We hope that this time will allow for a meaningful reflection on your parenthood to the baby or babies you have lost, since we know that often gets overlooked during the mother’s day and father’s day celebrations. We want you to know that we see the love you hold for your babies and you are not alone!
