Did you know August 31st is Bereaved Father’s Day? We know that dads, grandfathers, uncles and father figures grieve and can find benefit in connection to each other. Join us for a BBQ, co-hosted by Alive In My Heart,  Let the Light In and OhioHealth Community Grief Services.

We will enjoy lunch generously donated by City BBQ and each other’s presence in the garden at OhioHealth’s Kobacker House. Lawn games will be available as well, and this will be a casual event with just a short presentation.

There is no cost to register, but there are limited spots and eventbrite tickets are required, so visit this link to register.

The 2025 P.A.I.L. Remembrance & Awareness Walk will be on October 11th with the same host committee of Columbus Public Health, Miles’ Mission, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and us. Last year we had 400 participants and honored 120 babies gone far too soon. It was an amazing morning of community, remembrance & awareness.

We will be in the same location as last year at Genoa Park in downtown Columbus with a very similar setup and program of events.

The event is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Please register here to join us at this impactful event!

May 31st 10-noon at Co-Hatch Westerville

This is a time to honor those moms and dads and the love they have as parents to the baby or babies they miss.

The season of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day can be painful, and our parenthood to the babies we miss can be overlooked.

We hope that by carving out space and time to focus on the love we have for these babies we can all find some healing in remembrance.

To create an environment that is as supportive as possible, this event is only for grieving parents and their support people, and it will be an adults only event.

Take-home remembrance craft, reading of baby names, and refreshments

Our craft will be customized resin landscapes with Craft Your Night – examples can be seen at this link (but please RSVP on our google form not this eventbrite)

Please contact info@aliveinmyheart.org with questions.
