You are not alone in your grief.
We know the pain of losing a baby, and we are here for you.
If you are a parent who has a lost a baby, or know someone who has, we are here to provide community support, healing and remembrance.
We envision a community in which no one has to endure the loss of a baby on their own.
We are also grieving parents on our own journey who want to create community to grieve together.
Alive In My Heart is a 501(c)(3) Ohio non-profit organization that supports parents who have lost a baby during pregnancy or infancy by connecting them to each other and to community resources.
No two losses or stories are the same. Our journeys may be different, but we do share the understanding of how painful it is to have one or more babies we miss.
How Alive in My Heart connects you to community and resources.
Building community through remembrance events to connect impacted individuals to each other and create space to remember our babies.
Sharing a variety of grief resources to help those we serve in finding the support that is meaningful to them.
Educating and training healthcare and service providers who interact with grieving parents.
Supporting grieving parents who meet our financial need guidelines through our grant program called the PAIL Financial Grant Program.

2nd Annual P.A.I.L. Remembrance & Awareness Walk
EventsThe 2025 P.A.I.L. Remembrance & Awareness Walk will be on October 11th with the same host committee of Columbus Public Health, Miles’ Mission, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and us. Last year we had 400 participants and honored 120 babies gone far too soon. It was an amazing morning of community, remembrance & awareness.
We will be in the same location as last year at Genoa Park in downtown Columbus with a very similar setup and program of events.
The event is no cost to attend, but registration is required. Please register here to join us at this impactful event!
