Mother’s Day will always be a hard time after losing a baby. It’s a day that stands for what we are, but now also reminds us of what we’ve lost. We live with the emptiness, while trying to find joy in that little life that grew inside of us.
We would love to have you come
This event will be held at the same place as last year’s Mother’s Day event– the large shelter at the Park of Roses in Clintonville. We did make a change this year to not include living children, given the sensitivity of this event. We would like to give all mothers the chance to bring their significant other, or an adult close to them to celebrate this event.
DATE: May 11, 2019
PLACE: Columbus Park Of Roses 3901 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214
Large open air shelter at end of the entrance road, before the soccer fields. It will be on your left as you drive down the hill.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org in order for us to know how many are attending
Please include your baby’s name as we would like to say out loud every mom and baby’s name. Also include anything special you would like us to say about your little one.
Always Alive in Our Hearts
We want to stand beside you as you carry the memory of your child in your heart, as we carry ours. We want to stand beside you, giving us all the chance to be among the bravest of all mothers. We want to stand beside you, celebrating the strongest mothers of all, the ones that didn’t get to keep their children. We will stand, and we will cry, but we will know that we are not alone. We will know that together we will survive.
*For those hoping for an event that includes living siblings of the babies we have lost, check out our Father’s Day event, which will be open to families.
