There are so many ways to grieve and to heal after the loss of a baby. One that has been particularly helpful for co-founders Kessia and Elizabeth (and actually how they met) is mindful movement with their wonderful yoga instructor, Jennifer. We are so excited to offer an opportunity for you to practice mindful movement with Jennifer herself on Sunday, May 20th, 2018! Jennifer will guide us through about 45 minutes of stretching, light restorative yoga, and mindfulness to help us center and connect mind and body.
We will enjoy tea and lemonade following the class for all who wish to join us! We respectfully ask that only grieving parents attend. Please know that this is a safe space for any emotions that might come up for you through the event. Our quarterly events are designed to connect grieving parents in an informal setting with some type of healing activity. While we encourage you to meet other grieving parents and share anything you’d like about the baby you miss, there is not any expectation to share your story if you’re not feeling up to it that day. This is event is not a support group, and no mental health professionals or licensed counselors will be present. Please RSVP by emailing email@example.com. If you have not attended one of our events in the past, please share with us what you are comfortable about the baby you have lost. We ask this only so that we can ensure the integrity of the event as one for grieving parents.
